For my upcoming website I am making a list of movies, TV shows or whatever in which you can see a Super 8 camera (or projector too). Not Super 8 footage but actually seeing the camera in the picture. After I saw the episode of Star Trek where Kirk runs around with a Nizo, I though this would be a cool list. It has been 2 years and I only have found 11, please help.

in "The Doors" you can see one of the band members running around with one, filming San Francisco or something during their rise to fame. This footage also happens to be shot in Super 8 as well, but i sincerely doubt it was with the model of camera you see. the footage in the DVD transfer of these scenes rivals a lot of 16mm stuff to my eyes.

I saw an episode of "Three's Company" were the cast (Ritter, Somers, and ???) were filming each other with a Canon 310XL. They show footage that S. Somers supposably shot. They even have a projector playing the footage in one scene.

I'm sure quite a few shows from the '70's showcased S-8 cameras. The Brady Bunch comes to mind when Greg made that awful Pilgrim movie...
Which episode of Star Trek was Kirk running around with a Nizo?

Thanks guys for the Doors and 3's Company, I'll check them out.
Star Trek episode was "Patterns of Force" where Kirk and Spock pose as a film crew to infiltrate the Nazi camp. I am fairly positive the camera is a Nizo S560 http://www.geocities.com/spireofdoom/st4.jpg

It's not part of a show or produced film, but there's a very famous piece of footage that turns up in most docs about Hendrix or Joplin. Jimi is shooting a laughing Janis in some hotel room or backstage with what appears to me to be a Canon 814 (either E or Auto zoom; not sure) Both dead within a year. Now there's some reels of super 8 worth a few sheckels. Can you imagine!? Not sound though. Damn...
Although depending how stoned he was, there might not have even been any film in the darn camera. When I saw him summer '69, he had to be carried on stage, could barely stand; played brilliantly for 25 min and staggered off to boos. Tix were something like $17.50. Most of us were making 2.00 an hour, so it was like a whole day's pay for 25 min of music.
But I digress...

I think the May 11 issue of Entertainment Weekly had some kind of cartoon layout with an Asian guy holding what looks like a Super-8 camera...I found every issue but that one, so I'm assuming that's the issue.
